I am a new media evangelist at an old-guard media company.  I push to get news and information in front of consumers, and also to engage the viewer in the process.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.  But at least we are out there trying.

Social media (like Twitter, Facebook etc) are very powerful tools for engagement and ultimately will be the tools we all use to consume not only news, but entertainment, sports and all other data.
